Hanshi Vladimir Parfieniuk 8 dan comes from Hajnówka (Podlaskie Voivodeship, Poland, Europe) and he is a representative of the Belarusian people. He has made a great career in a professional field and in martial arts. He graduated in two the most prestigious universities in Warsaw in Poland: Warsaw University and Warsaw School of Economics. As logistics manager and translator (he speaks fluently five languages) works for a big international corporation, moving all over many countries. For his work the most time he spends in Italy, Switzerland and Poland.

During his learning in secondary school in Hajnówka (Podlaskie Voivodeship, Poland, Europe) he practiced style kyokushin, but those exercises he remembers with a great disgust, not only as contradiction of any ideas of martial arts, but even physical education. Thoughtlessness of instructor, low technical level of kyokushin style, notorious "hardness tests" and following them for practicing persons a lot of injuries  and then he understood how should not look like martial arts trainings.

At that time he heard about Karate Tsunami and its principles (based on the article of Dr. Christopher Kondratowicz in the journal "Polish Soldier") and he dreamed about learning this style. Those dreams realized after beginning studies at the Warsaw University in Warsaw, when he immediately came to the Academic Club of Karate-do - "Tsunami" of Warsaw University, which run himself the founder of Karate Tsunami soke Richard Murat 10 dan.

During his studies he practiced very hard, participating every day in at least two trainings, and on Saturdays and Sundays, sometimes in four trainings, which ran soke Richard Murat. Moreover, he participated nearly in all of numerous training camps, organized by soke Richard Murat.

Gradually, as a result of hard and systematic work was increasing his level of training, and as a result he reached a very high masterly degree 8 dan, and the prestigious title hanshi (Japanese 'master of masters').

In order to achieve the highest possible level of teaching he participated in as many as 10 national Karate Tsunami courses for instructors, which ran soke Richard Murat. As the result he achieved the position of the international Karate Tsunami instructor.

The result of immense work and talents of hanshi Vladimir Parfieniuk 8 dan is won the honorable post of Vice-President of the International Karate Tsunami Federation. As deputy of soke Richard Murat he coordinates the development of Karate Tsunami in a lot of countries.

His achievements in this field are impressive. Only in recent months as a result of  efforts of hanshi Vladimir Parfieniuk 8 dan came into being Karate Tsunami centers in such countries as: Iran, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, England, France and Finland.

Hanshi Vladimir Parfieniuk 8 dan is also famous for a great effectiveness in real fight, which comes from his inborn abilities, which he strengthened during long standing Karate Tsunami trainings under the direction of soke Richard Murat 10 dan.

This effectiveness and the high technical level quickly recognize masters from several countries, holders of the highest degrees in various styles, submitting to authority and methodological leadership of shihan Vladimir Parfieniuk, as a matter of fact for their own good.

Because of his effectiveness, as well as his position hanshi Vladimir Parfieniuk 8 dan is the  sparring partner of soke Richard Murat in photographs in the loudest bestseller about martial arts - the book "Karate for Beginners and Advanced" (published by the publishing house 'Książka i Wiedza' , ' Book and Knowledge'), the first edition - Warsaw 2003, the second edition - Warsaw 2008), the Englishi edition - by the publishing house 'Atlantic Puublishers & Distributors', New Delhi 2006.

 Karate  Advanced

This book has already become the loud bestseller in the world, especially in English-speaking countries. This book of soke Richard Murat, titled "Karate for Beginners and Advanced", was published in English language by the prestigious publishing house “Atlantic Publishers & Distributors”  (New Delhi,  2006). This is the first book of a Polish author in the history of the Polish sport, published in another language than Polish.

It should be mentioned that hanshi Vladimir Parfieniuk 8 dan is the proud follower of the Orthodox Church, what he emphasizes at every opportunity. Therefore, it’s caused a big surprise with such attitude, especially in the traditional Catholic countries, like Italy, during meetings with various dignitaries and representatives of government, acquiring  their approval.

One can say that hanshi Vladimir Parfieniuk is showpiece of the Orthodox Church in the martial arts, being an example how to effectively improve, both for his own good and for his community. Anyway, about the attitude of Vladimir Parfieniuk already came out a lot of articles in the Orthodox press in different languages.

Soke Richard Murat says, that hanshi Vladimir Parfieniuk 8 dan is without no doubt the most outstanding karate master not only among all Belarusians in Poland, but also in the world, and probably also among the Orthodox Church believers in the world.

For many years the attitude of hanshi Vladimir Parfieniuk meets with interest and the blessing of the Head of the Orthodox Church in Poland, Metropolitan Sawa. This famous Metropolitan has repeatedly blessed him, that he glorifies the Orthodox faith in the world.

On our website we placed several articles about the blessings of the Metropolitan Sawa for hanshi Vladimir Parfieniuk, and also for soke Richard Murat and wishes for Karate Tsunami development.

The meeting on 11th August 2010 referred to these issues.

His Eminence surprises very high intellectual level and orientation in raised issues, but also bursts optimism and lively sense of humor.

At the presented meeting, he surprised representatives of Karate Tsunami excellent orientation of principles of this style. Therefore, soke Richard Murat and hanshi Vladimir Parfieniuk stated that, they would not have to speak because the Metropolitan Sawa made for them a lecture of Tsunami Karate principles and plans for development of this style in the Orthodoxy environment.

Metropolitan started the meeting with saying, which is the motto of the Karate Tsunami style: A healthy mind in a healthy body. Then he presented a thorough lecture of the principles of Karate Tsunami, about the balanced development of body and spirit, but it should be emphasize that this is his personal point of view on these issues, based on his own personal knowledge and practical experiences, and at the same time consistent with Tsunami Karate.

Jest on z pochodzenia Grekiem, zaś włada jeszcze większą liczbą języków, niż shihan Włodzimierz Parfieniuk, a mianowicie: greckim, tureckim, włoskim, niemieckim, francuskim, angielskim i łaciną.

W najbliższych dniach złoży on wizytę w Polsce, spotykając się z duchowieństwem prawosławnym i innych religii oraz przedstawicielami władz państwowych.

O wspomnianym spotkaniu z Ekumenicznym Patriarchą Konstantynopola Bartolomeuszem I informujemy w artykule: Spotkanie kierownictwa Tsunami z głową Kościoła Prawosławnego Patriarchą Konstantynopola, do którego odsyłamy zainteresowanych.
