Psychical – mental improvement in Tsunami style
The oneself improvement propagated by Tsunami in the psychical aspect (Japanese: shinri – ‘psychical practices’) consists of systematic usage of different exercises, specifically:

meditation exercises (Japanese: zen), which develop concentration and compose mind;

intellectual exercises (Japanese: teisho), raising the intellectual development and extending range of knowledge;
-
autosuggestion exercises (Japanese: jiko-anji), which develop self-discipline and intellectual abilities in the range of self-control;
-
contemplative exercises (Japanese: bunseki), perfecting features of personality.

There are shown two typical for Tsunami system aspects of oneself improvement:
psychical (left) – in way of meditation exercises
and physical one (right) – in way of fight training.
Among them special emphasis we lay down on meditation exercises. These exercises - in various forms - we use systematical in all Tsunami training sessions.
Great meaning, attached to psychical development, is important and characteristic feature of Tsunami, differentiating this system from other styles.
